Caller claimed he was looking for "Dominic" - when advised he had wrong #, he than said "We'll maybe you can help" and started an Amvet donation read. I said "no" not interested. He said "conversation recorded" and hung up. These guys suck. It was a random call looking for donations for a non-prof that actually gets a tiny amount of what they collect.

If you're solicited by a telemarketer for a donation to a worthy charity, you and the charity would be better off making the donation directly to them and not over the phone.
