They've been calling every day for a week now. Sunday morning at 9 AM. If you pick up, a recording says standby for a representative. I usually wait a minute, then hang up. I tracked them down - they are a collection agency. I don't owe anybody anything, so they are looking for the person who had my new phone # before I did.
Totally bogus spam call received in Oregon on Feb 4 2011. This type of call is absolutely illegal for any reason in Oregon. What is wrong with ILL. that they cannot stop scam calls like this?
This number called. A recording told me I was on hold...and then they hung up on me. I know I don't owe anyone any money so I really doubt calls from this number are legitimate if that is what they are calling about. Anyway...who calls you and puts you on hold?
