I got this same call TWICE today. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. They left a message stating that same thing about my daughter. Do NOT respond.

Got a call from this joker on my cellphone. He was looking for someone in Alabama, not related or known to me, in reference to some hot checks. The person was supposedly about to have a capias warrant issued. I called back and told Cory that I was not the person he was seeking, nor did I know the person and to take my number off his records. If he calls again, I will file a complaint with the FTC. Also, the message he left was illegal because there was no 'Mini Miranda Warning' given, as required under the FDCPA, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
I received a call from this guy. He reads a bunch of charges and then will work to "arbitrate"...otherwise you will go to jail he says. Clever tactic but no merit. I started calling him on a regular basis back. H can't stand me. Says he done with me. But I call him every couple days to stop bullying people. Flood this guy with calls. Tell him you want to plea the 5th. Or does he even know what he is saying. I keep telling him we got off to a bad start and I just want to talk. Flood him with calls. I call Cory B...or Cory B stupid...
I want to thank you people who wrote all this stuff on here for getting my boyfriend incarcerated and screwing up our whole lives. We got a call from this company, too. And, because you wrote all this stuff up here we didn't pay back the money we got from the payday loan. We were on our way out to eat dinner and got pulled over for traffic about a month or so after a call from this guy. The police officer returned to our car and asked him to get out of the car to talk to him. When he got out of the car he began to arrest him telling him that he had a warrant for "Presumption For Theft By Check". He went to jail and now he has a record, lost his job, and cannot work in the field he has been going to college for. You people don't know what you're talking about and need to shut up. Instead of believing this crap we should have just paid back the little bit of money we borrowed. Warning to anyone who has taken out these type of loans and really did not pay them back, do not listen to these gossip columns as complete truth. If you think about it, we should have listened to our common sense. How is it a fraud if my boyfriend did take out the payday loan and he didn't pay it back. We should have done more research than this gossip column because that are laws in our state of Texas on the books. This one he was locked up for is: Texas Penal Code - Section 31.06. Presumption For Theft By Check
