These are some sort of scam operation. They have an address from about 5 years ago & say I ordered 10-15 magazines & now they are collecting. Never happened! I usually don't answer & they leave no message.
Repeatedly received calls from Gerald M. asking for different names every time. These calls are made always before 8am and after 9pm and exclusively on the Weekends and major holidays! This must be stopped!!!
They call my in laws house every single day and I never answer but one day my sister in law was over and she looked at the caller id too quickly and thought it was a local number and answered. Idk who they were looking for but it wasn't for here. And they've had that number for over 10 yrs. I'm gonna do the suggestion and just answer the phone and leave it on. When I worked as a telemarketer, we couldn't hang up on potential customers even if they didn't say anything..
And if u go to their website, they say they employ 60 people in pakistan and more in chicago. Screw that. I hate it when they hire overseas people to do their dirty work. They will never get my acct info!
Yes I also was called by this company. they just hang. so I called them back. they are looking for Katrina Moss. they really need to check thier info and make sure they are calling the correct person. Katrin must owe losts of people because I have had many collection people calling my number.
Actually Howdee up there really does not know what he is talking about. Depending on what the creditors do to defame your name in the community, they are also LIBLE! Lible. meaning DEFAMATION! Cannot go into details but this is actually true. Howdee better learn what these words actually mean before going after people for spelling them wrong. Yes, the person above did mean LIABLE in the way he used it, but you have to have no life to come on here and correct someone when these people are trying to help.
I just received a call from the M Gerald 312-922-6500 number, thinking it was a vendor or supplier, I answered it. The lady was very curt asking for my wife and I bluntly told her 'what for?' and she quickly hung up. The best advise above is if you owe something $$ wise, pay the original debt, not the nigerian scammers (I liked the term above bottom feeders, reminds me of catfish!) but don't pay the debt collectors whose only existence is making money off people's misery in tough economy. Most places you might owe (if any) will work with you, not pass you along to scammer debt agency who calls all hours of day and night, regardless of do not call lists and fed regulations. They can be extremely intimidating and outright rude. I and wife don't own anything but I do keep a air horn near phone for scammers like this and give them a blast in the receiver to think about. Sometimes the scammer wins, as this time the lady hung up before I could get the air horn!
