"Carl from your online pharmacy".... I immediately hung up on him and added the # to my phones "auto reject list"
Normally, I do NOT answer calls on my cell, unless they are expected or from friends/family. I was expecting a call, so unfortunately I answered. I get about 5-6 calls per week from places like this. I have never given this number to any online pharmacy.
Unfortunately, I guess my cell number was provided by AT&T to places like this. Thanks for the privay AT&T ! So glad I pay you to sell my number :(
If you answer quickly enough, the heavily-accented rep will offer a fabulous discount on your prescription medications, while representing to be a legitimate service. They might have tapped into an old online pharmacy database because they had a partial (long-expired) credit card number.
Suggest not dealing with them if you have the misfortune if making contact. Legitimate communication from Global Pharmacy comes in on an 866 prefix.
