Had 2 missed calls from this number this weekend--Nov 1 and 2 2008.
I think in the telemarketing world, they use automatic dialers, and sometimes if you pick up real quick, there is a pause. I think it is because the telemarketer is expecting a cue, and doesn't hear it if you answer your phone too quickly. Also, if you don't answer, the machine starts to call the next number. That is why they don't leave messages--wastes too much time.
i got a call from them on 6/25/08 @ 6:41pm, 7/6/08 @ 1:42pm, and now 7/08/08 @ 7:37pm. i missed all 3 calls. this is a chicago number and i'm in california. i am a wamu customer but i doubt that they would call my cellphone. i'm glad that i found this site. please if someone has a resolution to block them, post it here. Thanks!
July 17, 2008: Called around 7:46 pm on my cell phone (Verizon, if it matters). I was in class and didn't pick up. I'm also in CA, found out the area code was Chicago and decided to look this up. I hope they don't call back.
