I have continued to receive these calls several times a day for the past week. I just got another one and it is 5:45 pm on a Sunday. Leave me alone. Even when I say please don't call back, they do.
The hint is when they call me by my first name and ask how I am doing. How rude; I don't know them.
Can't they get the hint!
Kathy, From a current Medallion employee...I'm sorry. With the kind of job that we do its hard to keep employees. Therefore most of the workers are somewhat "new" and have had little training. Like others have said, ask to be put on the do not call list FOR ALL CHARITIES that we call for. There are a lot of them! And hope your talking with someone who actually knows how to work the job. Rcvd call from Medallion today. They call all the time. I put her on hold, and before I could even pretend to ask the manager to speak with her, she hung up. Now I know they will call back. So, I played their game. I called their number back. If you call the number that called you, it will identify itself as a Donor Privacy Protection Line. Listen to the message for 20 seconds, because at the end you can leave your phone number and ask to be removed from ALL CHARITY calls. I mentioned in my message that they are extremely rude and annoying.
