I have been getting calls from this number for several months now. When I answer they hang up, and they never leave a voicemail. This is very frustrating and  ANNOYING.

I have been getting several calls from this number and when I answered they hang up, and they did not leave any voicemails.

Seldom check "Out of area" phone numbers, but decided to look up this one.
NO message has been left. Telemartketers?

This can't be a telemarketer, I am on that do not call registry and I never get telemarketer calls, it's to my cell which is a fairly new number for me so I don't even know if they are calling for me. Why would they not leave a message?
