Received message saying an arrest warrant had been issued for me while at work. Terrified until I visited this site and read other posts. Thanks for letting me know this is a scam.
This is a scam. As has been said the IRS sends letters and contacts employers if it gets to the point of a lien they NEVER call with an automated system from Chicago. If any chance they did attempt to call you it would be from your regional office and a live person. I reported this call and have a copy of the message to my local police department as well as 3 local news outlets to report it on air.
