313-203-8198 called my parents, the caller ID showed the call as"ACS" and a woman asked my mom if she would like to make a donation to the American Cancer Society my mom called the number back and it says the number is not assigned. Then we called THE American Cancer Society and was told they do not solicit donations over the phone and to be careful because it was a scam.
The ACS is a scam using the real American Cancer Society’s name to make themselves money.
It is bad enough they want to scam people but to use a place like the American Cancer Society.

ACS popped up on my television screen and I picked my phone up out of concern!! When I picked up I heard a man's voice say something like "go ahead" then in her phony voice she asked to speak to "mrs" M which is my boyfriend's last name and we're not married!!! So from that alone I was weary and. Said she isn't home and she said ok Mr M or Mrs M is not home and I replied NO and he hung Up!! I felt it was sum sort of Scam!! SMDH
