I don't have BCBS, I have Kaiser so they shouldn't be calling me. It's a scam hiding behind a BCBS's number. It's called spoo-em and that way they find out if a legitimate person is answering at your number. After they gather that information then they play the spam game with you. Beware because your insurance company already have all of the basic information they need on you. Scamming is real and they have no respect of person. They need a voice and body to complete their mission. Today is Friday, 11/26/16 and I've received 3 calls from 3 different numbers already. I didn't answer. I stopped answering calls from numbers I don't recognize. DON'T BE SCAMED BY THESE MORONS.
I got a call from this # a week after taking my child to a doctor. She left a VM saying is was a "courtesy call" and called my kid out by name to ask if he was okay. Very strange. I didn't bother trying to call back.
This is a legitimate number - I had called BCBS about some incorrect coverage last week and the CS agent told me she would contact my doctor's office about resubmitting the order with different diagnosis codes so that it would be covered. She called me back today to follow up and confirm that she was able to talk to my doctor about revising the order.
