the Compuware office in Detroit leases space on the ground floor of the main building and the adjacent build to other companies; one of the options for leasing includes phone service. unfortunately those that get the phone service from Compuware with the lease show up on all outgoing calls as calling from Compuware's main number for this site. I know this because the Detroit Medical Center has a small doctor's office in one of these spaces and all of their calls to me show up as Compuware.
if you are receiving calls from this number, it could be any of these business, and Compuware staff answering the phones is not even aware of this...

Received a call at 13:43 on 27-FEB-2008, no message. Called back, phone answered as "Compuware Corporation", said can't tell who called unless they left extension. It may be that someone is calling and "spoofing" this number but really calling from a different number(?)
Later actually got in contact with Compuware. Call was to invite me to a seminar. Phone number was obtained from information I gave them when downloading a whitepaper. If you received a call from this number and you are a computer professional this may be why they called you.
