Prank call claiming to be from "Police Dept". The voice mail said they need my credit card number if I wish to accept the call.

call came in to my phone claiming to be from westland police department wanting credit card number to pay for call  i do not give my card number to bail someone from jail unless i am at the jail these people want your card number for other reasons

do not give card number to these people

I got a call too they left a message and said u had to have a credit or somthing to except the call said something about a corrections facility,

My son is down at the Westland 18th District court, and I got a call from that number so maybe its legit.  I did not answer in time so it left message as if I had answered to select billing method, like a collect call!!!
