several calls were on caller ID as the police department -- when I tried to call back got message that this was non-working number -- did a little Google research and discovered the scam -- what a world we live in ....
I got several calls from (313) 228-0989 I missed the first couple and got voicemails asking for credit card information at first I thought it was a scam because if you call the number back you get cannot be completed as dialed. I was able to answer one of the calls and it was my boyfriend calling from jail in westland michigan.
i just got a call from this number it left me a voicemail something about needing a credit card.. anyone call it back to see what it was?? why are they calling random people for hmm?
