a LONG message filled up my answering machine, some phishing scam about extending car warranties. the fact that these robocalls never indentify the name of the company they represent or offer a callback number is a sure sign it's a scam. the caller ID number is probably faked. i didn't have my current number when i got my car, so it is in no way associated with my car registration or warrantee, so apparently they call every number at random hoping some sucker will fall for their scheme.
