Number has called once a day for the past week. They have left no VM. If this is a loan institution they could not have gotten my number from "event" or whatever else I have never and will never have a loan in anyway
I have received a few calls from this number in the past few days. The first claimed that I had won a prize from "The Travel Channel", which sounds legitimate as it is a television show and also has legitimate contests which you can enter to win a prize. I doubted their sincerity when they transferred me to another operator who mentioned "Quicken Loans". I told them it was a bad time to call me as they asked for my SS#. I told them I never gave them out and asked the operator if she gave her SS# out so freely, she told me she did and had no issue with giving that out. Anyway, this is a scam and they also use other phone numbers 800-251-9080, 855-909-2274, 785-729-3623, 858-227-4971, 855-909-2274, 316-786-6000, 681-209-6023,858-227-4971. All of them claim to be "Quicken Loans" and some claim that I won a prize through the "Travel Channel". All of them ask me for my Social Security" number, a big red flag.

This number is indeed the Quicken loan number based in Michigan. What is strange about it is the scammers are now spoofing genuine numbers the one that called me yesterday afternoon was looking for over $600 claiming it was a shortage on my escrow account. This guy named Roy asked me to give him payment over the phone via credit card. I contacted my Quicken loan rep who said there is nothing flag on my account is being a shortage and that this was more than likely a scam. Beware people they are now spoofing genuine numbers from your contact list.
