got a call from this number about a craigslist ad. said she wanted to buy something from me.
said she would call after 7 pm. got another call..just one ring.
this is a scam. its one of those one-ring ... you call back scams
Different departments have different offices in different places. Lansing (the state capital) is in the 517 but if you're applying for something like EBT depending on your location the number will come from your area. It's the local office calling you.
I called Secretary of State today. Said I would get a call back in 30 minutes. So the time frame fits. However, everytime I answer the phone no one is there and then the call disconnects. Nice.
