The number called and said they could lower my interest rate on my credit cards. They asked to list my credit cards and their balance. I gave them the balances and once I did, they said I would have a permanent lower interest rate and then they hung up. Judging from their accent and the language they were speaking when they thought the called hadn't connected yet, they are from overseas.
Just got this call and did not answer. I have to agree with other posters that this is a scam of some sort. Best policy is if you have no business receiving a call from a number and there is no caller id then ignore and block.
it called couple times to one of my patients , it looks like they are calling to elderly people - financial elderly abuse credit card /data collection !
