another telemarketer wanting to talk to "whoever Office Manager is" to find out "how they take care of overdue accounts payable" or some such rubbish.

Eric from Capital Accounts had the same gist for us today.

I get a call asking for "whoever the office manager is" and then he states that they've spoken with our office in the past regarding past due accounts. I asked his name, he refused to give it to me and then proceeds to ask me how many past due accounts do we have. As I begin to explain to him, not that many and that we've implemented our own program, the IDIOT hangs up on me. I bet he just loves his job as a cold caller!
