This lists on caller ID simply as "MIFOP"
which stands for "Michigan Fraternal Order of Police"
These guys are apparently exempt from any telephone Opt Out programs and they are very very agressive and persistant. Once they start in a cyle of calling (this being an unlisted number), its typically once per day ranging from anywhere in the early morning to 10 at night EST.
Asking them to please stop calling has no effect.
(I was hung up on when I made this request and given a one day break before another call was made two days later as the cycle started in again).
I gave to the FOP a few times several years back, and they really don't give up if you say no. I would donate again if it wasn't for their annoying persistence. Now comes across ad "Detroit Call" instead of FOP sometimes. Makes the FOP look bad, whoever they hirs to raise funds on the phone.
