called about 1.5 years ago right after my boyfriend of 20 years died and they hounded me 5 to 6 times a day until you just get so tired you give them money but the amount that you want to donate is good enough they keep pushing more and more If I answer my phone I will tell them I am not home Can I take a message they hang up or I just wont answer. I work 3rd shift my caller ID can be completely cleared off when I go to bed When I get up I have 35 calls on my phone through out the day I hear this I can't shut off the phone becauise I have a son in school and incase of an emergency they need to get a hold of me.

These places RIP YOU OFF. Only one question you need to ask when they call and that is: "How much of my donation actually goes to the Police Department?"

I figure the Local Police don't know and don't care. They'll get a check donation from some company for $11,000 bucks and be like "that's cool". Fully unaware that it was actually $100,000 collected on their behalf.
