I received a voicemail from this number today. An automated voice that did not identify who was calling said that a local merchant had filed a complaint against me for a returned check. I haven't had a checking account in over 3 years but when I had one I also had a savings account that provided overdraft protection, I never had any checks returned. This is some sort of scam.
Called my husbands phone and said that I had written a bad check and they were trying to collect. I don't write many checks and only for bills -- NO BAD CHECKS written by me!
Wow...they called my phone saying my child had a returned checked...I did curse them really bad after they said a uniformed officer would be here the following morning... Keep in mind that's after several voice mails from at least 2 companies with same stories... After the Lady hang up on me..I called her back and said to her..'I do have my local police department on the line with me ..pleaseinform the officer of what you just told me'. .she hung up. So now when I try to call and harass them they won't talk!!!...true story lol
some one called from this number and left a message said that they was going to charge me with grand theft I called the number and they said that they had a lot of my info and said that I needed to paid them over the phone and I tried to talk to them. This was suppose to be a supervisor on the phone. I tried to talk to her and she stated that I needed to pay them no over the phone. if I did owe this loan and they didn't hae the money to pay them I was being told that I was going to jail
I have received a few calls from this number and it comes up unknown but Allen Steven "federal Mediation Officer" leave a message with the # 313-986-2001. Complain and or chargers in my name. blah blah blah That I have officially been notified and good luck. I owe no one any money and they need to stop doing this to folks. I just really hope that no one falls in this trap
