Caller says a local merchant has reported me for a bad check. I don't have a checking account. When I tried calling back, got the message that stated the person at extension 135 is not available and cannot leave a message cause the mailbox is full.
Caller called left a message and when I returned the call they tried to tell me it was for an old Master Card that I had maxed out. The card supposedly had a $2500 limit. Never had a Master Card and definitely never had a credit card with a high limit. They refused to send me any proof that this was my account. Major scam!
I received a call stating that a local merchant had reported me for a bad check. When I called the number listed, I did not reach anyone and could not leave a message because the voicemail was full. I don't have any bad checks out.
