These people call after a bill is paid in full, at&t gave them my social security number,
I paid the at&t bill before the due date, they were just mad because I dropped at&t as an internet provider 1st, and a month later switched to a different phone company, the noise on the phone was getting so bad I couldn't hear what people were saying, a constant hum or crackling noise, I called their repair dept and a truck showed up in the alley behind my house and all the guy did was paint the ground where the wire is buried, I told them if they couldn't stop the noise I was going to switch companies, after 36 years no more at&t for me. they charge $52 a month for 5 mbps dsl, for $49. you can get cable 75 mbps, I told them this and they said we don't compete, and I said you can't compete for $19 a month I can get 10 mbps, and for a new customer you want $30 a month for 3 mbps. at&t is nuts.
