I am being threatened every day by ACS saying I owe them money and am going to be legally prosecuted. They send emails, call every day from so many different numbers including 315-215-1620 and have now come up with "spoofing" which is hiding their numbers making me think it's someone else. I'm sick of being threatened and harassed at work and on my cell. There has to be a way to stop these people.
I first received an email from "some company" threatening to take me to court in the next 7 days if I do not pay a past due account today. They act as if they are giving you a deal but no specifics about where the debt came from except a past due payday lona. If you actually receive a call from this number it will be a male with a heavy accent supposedly trying to collect on payday loan accounts. He will say it needs to be a western union sent to a person like "David Cooper" and then will continue to call every 15 minutes asking why you have not sent the western union yet. After a few hours go by the same male will call and say the western union now needs to be in someone else's name because "David Cooper" is now unavailable. Not only does the name change but also the city and state on where to send the money. It is a scam, do not answer their calls or emails.
