Left message Stating they were from the IRS, last chance before legal action. Call the office number they give 315-370-1340. The women repeated the number twice and it is the number on the caller ID.
This is a scam, people. Here's what I did: when they called a second time, I called them back on an app on my tablet and imitated a robo call I used to get all the time. "Hi, this is Heather with Card Services calling in regards to your credit card account. Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with your account. Please press any number to speak with a representative." Then they hung up. I called back and used a foreign accent to talk to another person. They answered both times as the IRS. I said I was calling for 'legal' in very, very broken English. They asked for the phone number I got the call on and I said 'you know number.' Then he said he couldn't help me. Then he hung up. So, yes. I pranked the cranks. Twice.
I called them back. They had a previous address for me and wanted my new one. They asked why I hadn't reported my new address to the irs. They asked for my address and I refused to give it to them. She told me she was going to move forward with the lawsuit and hung up on me. I have yet to get them to answer again.
