Just got a call from this number again and the voicemail is the exact same voicemail I got about a week ago. You can tell is pre-recorded.. Bunch of bologna scam! The "Attorney of Records"... WTF!! O_O... and the "hotline" number to his "division"... I just laugh when hear this stuff! I recall at first getting a call like this back in July and it scared the pants out of me but after further reading and doing my homework, all I do is laugh!.. I actually now enjoy these voicemails listening to how pathetic and ridiculous these people sound on the phone... sounding all serious and using scare tactics to prey on innocent people.. these crooks need to be in prison and to rot there... I should of answered it and yelled soo loud on the phone.hahaha. Once again, as I said on my previous comment, know your rights under the FDCPA the FTC, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act..
I got back to back calls from this same person last week. Jason Conners. I called the number back but got disconnected after numerous rings. I was angry because I felt like he was threatening me and wanted to tell him to 'shove it.' How dare he try to intimidate me! The a**hole!
I received the call and a person calling himself Charles Green stated that he needed to hear from me or my attorney to call the second I got the call. The issue was time sensitive and I was not ignore. If I did not return the call than all he could do was wish me luck as the situation unfolded....I called back because I have received these types of calls before, so I find it humorous...He said that I had been named as a "Prime Suspect" in a lawsuit against me that was going to be filed the next day. He asked me if I had an attorney and that he need that information. I asked him, since when are you notified over the phone that you are a prime suspect and charges are pending. I told him that you aren't any type of law enforcement or district attorney and that IF and WHEN any charges or lawsuits are filed...then I will have my attorney contact the necessary people...He hung up...
Three calls in past 2 days. Same recorded message from individual with accent. Threating action against me. Scam. Legal action is not taken in this manner.
