And what's so cool about it is you can call them back and they can't do anything except answer the phone.
Of course it's a fraud but you can waste their time while you're driving down the road and enjoy the heck out of it.
The caller ID on the number reads Sharon Callahan. A recorded message is then left on our answering machine that states that it's the IRS & that a law suit is being filed against us. It also states that we're to call the number back. We have received multiple such messages from this number, & the caller ID always reads that it is from Sharon Callahan. Obviously, it is a scam. This is SO irritating!

Got a voice mail from this number. They try to sound legit but when you probe the logic they get defensive. After asking kindly to talk with someone who I could understand better since the person had an accent, he refused and insisted that I listen to him (Alex Wang, Pg ID: 1RM5400) so I could understand. I was kind and let him. After asking him to repeat himself he got more defensive and argumentative. He insisted that if I would listen I can understand. I insisted that if I understood I wouldn't have asked to speak with someone else. After this went on for more than 10 min I told him to speak slowly and clearly so I can make out what he was saying. Then I asked to speak to a different person again when he refused I asked for supervisor. He claims no one else is available and he cannot transfer to a supervisor. After a while of the same thing the call was disconnected. I called back ten times and got hung up on 10 times. Each hang up was a little different. One would answer, the other one silent 5en hang up, the other one claiming they couldn't hear, and it was all the same voice. This Alex Wang finally answered a call and stated that he could not hear and that it was a network issue. Later on he pretended to be a supervisor but it was the same voice and accent. He refused to transfer me to another person. He claims they were so busy but I doubt that if they were so busy and I called more than 10 times after being hung up more than 10 times I would have gotten someone else. I call back after a few minutes and a female answered the phone and instead of being professional started swearing and swearing and swearing then it was just a holding and hanging up on me game from there. I called back and it was the same Alex Wang voice and accent. I have my phone records to prove it if this site wants proof. I think the IRS would be more profession. This is obviously FRAUD! And if not...the IRS is very incompetent! You think the they would have more than 2 workers.
