received a call and the person on the other end identified himself as a person collecting for the Kansas state law enforcement fund looking for donations.. I told him to send me a complete IRS financial disclosure for their distribution of funds.. He said ok and tried to hang up.. I asked him if he needed my address if he was going to send me a pledge form and disclosure.. He said no and hung up, guessing it is a scam..
Can't/won't answer my phone anymore because of these criminal [***] [***]. And [***] AT&T and the FTC for not doing anything about it. Tired of paying to be abused by worthless annoying illegal call attempts to my phone. Like Nancy's post, they left no voice mail. My display did read TELEMARKETER, so AT&T knew they were forwarding this crap. Any bets on whether they made any effort to identify the source and prosecute them? Didn't think so. I'm ready to find Stephenson's office number and give them a call again. I got great satisfaction in getting in their ear, until they started forwarding that number to their call center...
Just like Nancy, I also got a call from this number at 12:56pm, Saturday, May 20, 2017, that left no message. When I called it back, it was busy. My phone screen started to jerk around like someone was attempting to access it remotely. I took the battery out & restarted it, which is a highly inconveniencing, time-infringing, mean, inconsiderate thing to do to a fellow human being one would not even know. How utterly rude...even criminally harrassing. Stop the madness!
