received a call and the person on the other end identified himself as a person collecting for the Kansas state law enforcement fund looking for donations.. I told him to send me a complete IRS financial disclosure for their distribution of funds.. He said ok and tried to hang up.. I asked him if he needed my address if he was going to send me a pledge form and disclosure.. He said no and hung up, guessing it is a scam..
The person asked for Erin. I said they had the wrong number. The guy said maybe you could help me with something. I launched into a string of words that would make a sailor blush.
I could hear the voice jumping around. It wasn't a real person, it was a computer that sounded like a real person. I have no clue what scam they were up to because I hung up.
I find them to be so annoying, especially since this was on my cell phone, but what really bothers me is if they were to call my parents, my parents would fall for this scam. There really should be a way to put these crooks behind bars.
They don't seem to get the picture. I do not and will never answer any call unless it's a friend or relative. I pay for my phone and it is for my use only. They are wasting their time and money. Go crawl back into your dung heap.
