Have some information on these folks. The number 317-200-3251 I got a call from this number same folks from New Hampshere and Ohio when i Talk to the girl I told her God would punish her for what she's doing well when she called back she must of used her own phone the number is 843-531-9281 from Charlston South Carolina turnning the number in to the police.
Got a call at work and on my cell from this number. Recorded message says they are trying to verify my address. No company name left but basically said this was my last chance to pay up or I would be served papers at home. In short, scammers.
VM that kept repeating "this message is intended for _____. It repeated about 8 times before finally hanging up. Guess they couldn't figure out how to work the scam machines! LOL
Got a call from this number with a recording which sounded like debt collector. Actually received the same message a few times from a few weeks ago from a different number(412-346-1378). These guys are scam.
They're trying to collect years-old debt from Online Payday loans. The call (a very badly made recording) is allegedly from a "Summons Department", who is calling to verify a home and job address so they can serve a lawsuit. (Like anybody is willing to receive that!) Then they threat to contact the HR department of your job (which they don't know) so they can serve you (always) with TWO charges!
These [***] are just trying to intimidate people; nothing of what they say can be done legally - and a bunch of their threats are illegal themselves! They buy these petty debts for cents on a dollar, and then they try to scare people.
Likewise, last week they called three times from Pennsylvania; this week it's from Indiana (the very same message). Don't even bother answering - then they may have ground to harass you, but never legally!
