I got the " This is the division of pre trial processing. We have received an order for two allegations to be filed against you immediately with the county clerks office. This department will be actively pursuing you at your place of employment and your residence. You do have the legal right to resolve this case with the plaintiff outside of court." call 3 day ago. I called them back this morning and something seemed off. The girl was supposed to be from the county clrks office but didn't evn know how to spel my city's name. I went as far as setting up payment arrangements. Once i looked up their number and realized it was fake I called back to cancel and the "supervisor" got very rude about it.
They left this message on my voicemail, " This is the division of pre trial processing. It goes on and on but the gist is the same. It's a scam. No one contacts you before you are served.
Got partial message on voicemail stating:
"actively pursuing you at your place of employment and your residence. You do have the legal right to resolve this case with the plaintiff outside of court. Please understand that once you are located you do forfeit that right. Please call us back (317)200-3267 & refer to your case #....."
I called the number & they picked up. I couldn't understand the name & said please hold. I did not hold. SCAM!!!
