I find it interesting that, when I Google AIC America I find websites for a supposed insurance company. But all the reports here link AIC America to a "Pro-Life" donation scam.
Called and when machine came on I heard them hang up. If you have something to say, say it!
These types of calls irritate me to the max. Sure glad for caller ID.
received a call from aic AMERICA SAYING THEY WERE FROM PROLIFE ASKING FOR A DONATION .I BEING PRO LIFE SAID I WOULD SEND A CHECK FOR 20.00 THAT I WAS DISABLED BUT BELEIVED IN THE CAUSE.THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAIL OUT A ENVELOPE FOR ME TO SND A CHECK IN .LATLY I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING A LOT OF PHONE CALLS WANTING ME TO GIVE MY IP ADRESS THAT I HAVE HACKERS IN MY COMPUTER.TO NO AVAILE THEY WONT QUIT CALLING AND NOW THEY HAVE MY ADRESS .WHEN WILL THIS ALL QUIT I AM AT MY ENDS WIT AND READY TO THROW MY COMPUTER IN THE RIVER
Caller ID showed aic america. Caller asked about opinions on abortion, said they were an anti-abortion group collecting money; can find no indication they are a legitimate organization or non-profit, no indication how any money they collect is used. Appears to be phishing or a scam.
Just rec'd call from this number...ID said AIC America. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I think this is the first time they have called my number. Thank goodness for caller ID.
scam? There is an article here that looks a lot like this caller: http://liveactionnews.org/new-phone-scam-targ ... nation-request/
It really sounded like a computer-generated response - every time I asked a question there was a long pause and static on the line before the answer was given.
