I find it interesting that, when I Google AIC America I find websites for a supposed insurance company. But all the reports here link AIC America to a "Pro-Life" donation scam.
I am on the DNC list. I don't care why anyone calls. I have all the names of people who I want to talk with on the internal phone book and when they call their name is displayed on the phone. If all that displays is a phone number, I will not answer so if they want to talk with me they must leave their name and number and I may call them back. If I have a lapse in control and answer the phone and it is anyone soliciting anything, they will not like what they hear from me. I will not be civil, I will not be courteous and their ears will burn after I am done.. My phone is for my convenience, not yours.
Called after 8:00 PM last night. Didn't say what they wanted, but called me by my first name, like they knew me. That was kind of scary - how did they know my name?
AIC listed on the caller ID.
Charities frequently share their donor lists with other charities. If you have given to one of more charities as the result of a phone solicitation, you can expect calls from others who know your name.
Why sign up for the no-call list these individuals respect nobody's privacy. They don,t have the nerve to identify themselves or what scam they are running.
