Working in the electronics industry, I've received numerous phone calls from telemarketers offering a free subscription to their magazine. Once you answer their questions regarding job function and products that you recommend within your company, you will receive their magazine but not before you receive numerous calls from other companies offering you a free subscription to their magazine. In the end, you receive lots of magazines filled with advertisements and very little content. Now I simply say I'm retiring at the end of the month and everyone leaves me alone ...everyone except the people at this phone number.
These clowns keep calling and never say anything. Time to disconnect their number. I reported them to the FCC. Here is a good link to get the process started: https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088G
Call came in to my work phone from 317-559-5608 Indianapolis IN. I let it go to voice mail. The voice mail "message" was background noise, sounding like an office of telemarketers talking to their customers...
"SUBSCRIPTION" IS WHAT CAME UP ON CALLER ID, PERSON WHO SOUNDED LIKE TELEMARKETER STARTED TALKING...I HUNG UP. THIS IS A BUSINESS LINE.
(WONDER IF COMPLAING IN THIS FORUM NETS RESULTS, AS I DO NOT BELIEVE THE NAT'L DO NOT CALL REG. DOES - WE CAN NEVER FIND OUT ONE TIME IF ANY COMPLAINTS WERE SUCCESSFULLY FOLLOWED UP ON...).
