got call said they were IRS and there was a lawsuit on me  and to call them right away    they left message .

317-560-2737 said I was being sued by the IRS. How do these people keep getting away with this?. Some gullible  person is going to give money , lose sleep & be scared out of their mind

Called at 5:38 AM! I didn't answer because I did not recognize the number. Caller left a message on my answering machine that the IRS had a lawsuit against me. Local news stations had reported on this scam.

They are located in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of US law.

Received call on 10-21-15 at 11:57 a.m.  Caller I.D. said "Indiana Call". Recorded message was a woman's voice telling me she was from the IRS and I was being sued.  Gave call back number of 317-560-2737 to get more info.  I actually saved the message and recorded it off my phone so I could share what the scam sounded like with my elderly relatives.

Interestingly enough, when I attempted to put the number into my call blocker feature on my phone, it is a number that cannot be blocked through my phone carrier.  How can that happen???
