Received a call from this number. The man on the phone spoke with a heavy accent and kept telling me not to interrupt him when he is speaking. He was rude and told me they would notify my place of employment about the debt that I owe and that there will be an arrest warrant issued for me. He also asked if I have ever been "picked up" on fraud. I thought this to be a strange way to phrase this and of course answered no. He continued to be rude and continued to cut me off any time I would ask a question. I told him that i was done speaking to him and to transfer me to someone who would not be rude to me. He then said ok but do not argue with them. He transferred me and that guy was rude with an accent as well. I then asked him to send me a copy of the affidavit. He verified an email address he had on file and said he would send it and hung up. I have not received anything.
If they don't let up, each time they call, if you answer, ask them to recite the Fair Collection Act to you. This usally gets them to hang up. If not, then, ask them if they mailed you info. Then ask them who runs their Legal Dept? They get so mad!
I've been called by every state in the country. Criminals! Report them to the FCC and Whatever state they call from FBI Office.
They just called my work. Heavy accent and really hate when you start questioning them. Original person who called stated his name was Richard Moore, Russell Law Group (it may have been Russell and something but I couldn't get that out of anybody). I was transferred to the "Paralegal" who said his name was Sheldon Rosario (I was expecting Cooper as a last name). After reading me the affidavit, he asked if I had questions. So I asked again what law group he was with and response was that that the Las Vegas Metro PD were going to come and arrest me. Then I pointed out about FDCPA and he got flustered and stated that the "Hayward Police", wait I mean Las Vegas Police will come and arrest me. I asked to remove my work number and was told they couldn't do that. I'll be reporting them, not that it will do good but figured it keeps others informed. This is a scam call. And you can fluster them by knowing your rights.

After asking them to email my affidavit I still have not received anything. I tried to call back and was going to give them my attorney information (i don't really have one but they didn't know that) and the line is either busy or not working. SCAM!
I have contacted bandwidth.com regarding this number. They are the provider of this number and are now going to investigate this as scam. Please also contact this carrier and do the same. I googled the name and called and spoke to customer service who directed me to fill out an aup violation ticket and they will follow up with the customer to find out whats going on and possibly shut down the number.
