They have called at least once a day or more. I called them back and got a message that they were calling for the FOP. I left a message telling them that I asked them once not to call and please to f**king call me again. It's a scam and that if necessary we could discuss this face to face. The caller id states II along with the number.
Caller id says "IN". Did not answer, and no message was left. The call came much earlier than I usually receive these types of junk calls, around 8:15am.
I do not think that these people are part of the IN FOP. There are scams like this out there- especially one asking for Childrens Charitable Network-- for Make a Wish- but they are not linked.
This is a scam. Didn't make it to the phone it time and they left no message. Caller ID just has IN. I receive these calls from various numbers, some saying INFOP, Police Protection or ITC on the caller ID. Once I spoke to a caller who said he was collecting donations on behalf of families of fallen officers. Don't believe them.
