Received a voicemail today. Never identified who they were or who they were trying to reach. Just said that a debt was owed and if I didn't contact them they will put on record that I refused to pay.

Same here. I returned their call and they stated they couldn't tell me who the creditor was because they believe they used "due diligence and reached out to me enough times so they didn't have to disclose who I owed." Also asked for a itemized statement to be sent to me but was told they will put in a request but couldn't promise anything. Banker said to check credit report and if there is nothing on there it is a complete scam. People are so ridiculous!
Left a voicemail a few minutes ago - Said that if I or my attorney didn't get back with the TODAY that I have waived my right to council and a case will move forward against me. He also stated "go get yourself a coroner" !!! I can't believe that! That can be interpreted as a death threat which is obviously highly illegal.
