Received a call from this number at 10:03 this morning. Couldn't get to the phone before the answering machine kicked in. Caller ID showed Unknown Name. They left a message, but it was garbled and in slow motion, as described by Tootsie above.

Received 2 calls less than a minute apart from this number. First time they are on the line but won't speak, second time I picked up on 2nd ring and there was a dial tone. Been having lots of hang ups and assuming they are all from this number. Annoying.
Has called four times today. Rings once, twice or hangs up when you answer it. Caller id shows Walker Iowa. Internet search shows it is owned by a customer of Windstream Communications.
Therefore I contacted Windstream Communications to ask them to do something about it. The person said that 'yes' it is one of their phone numbers but they don't control it. Contact your local police. If you call the number is says it has been disconnected.
