Angela called me today (Sat 7-17-10, 930)from 319-833-1300 and was also very evasive. Told me her name and would not tell me any more when asked what CBE group is. I am on the do not call list and am sure this was not for me even though the name was correct. She did not want to discuss anything more and thankfully hung up.
This number keeps calling me every day but I've nevered answered. I don't have any debt. Sounds like a scam or telemarketer but I'm on the Do Not Call registry. Any other ideas on why I am getting called?
I get a call form the same number,but I dont' answer it. I don't know who it is calling, but i am going to call the number back to see who it is, and I will post here. calling now! Well it must be debt collector because no one anounces a company name.
I'm also on the "do not call" registry and have received countless calls from this number - often as many as 5 times a day, between 8AM and 9PM. Since I don't pick up, I have no idea who's calling, but, as I have no debt, I doubt it's a debt collector.
