Well Happy Wednesday morning. They have called my cell and office phone numbers again. It was Justin Simon again. Well, this is past annoying at this point. I have to agree with Eileen, this needs to be handle with some sort of class action suit, and the payday loan companies who have either sold our informatioin or been compromised should be held responsible. I am just not going to ever put my information in any forms online.
Going to complete the reports to the legal authorities now.
I got a call from this number today at work - very heavy accent from a man who called himself Mac Larson - I made him spell it. He kept asking me to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security number which I of course refused to do. When I demanded information from him, regarding the name of his company, address, and phone number, he refused to talk to me any more and gave the phone to his "supervisor" who said her name was Justine Williams (also very difficult to understand) with LLC Law Offices in Auburn, New York, 13021. She could not give me the address. She got irate when I kept demanding information about her company and the reason for her call. All she would say is that there were 3 allegations against me and I would be picked up from either my home or place of work by 11AM tomorrow morning if I didn't provide my lawyer's name and phone number. I knew this was a scam and told her if they contacted me again, they would have to answer to some serious legal allegations themselves. When I continued to demand information from her, she finally told me "Good luck and God bless you" and hung up on me. If these people are getting information from online payday loan applications, shouldn't those companies have some responsibility for allowing our information to be compromised? I think a class action suit against them would be appropriate. From another site and frequently used #, it looks like CashNet USA and Sonic Payday Loans have been compromised the most. I wish I knew more about class action law suits...

I received 2 strange confusing voice mails from this number last week. Each time they called they demanded I call them back but never left their company name or the exact reason for the calls. The 2 voice mails also made threats that if I didn't call back, they 'wished me luck for what will befall me." The voice messages are very loud and they yell into the phone. The voice has a heavy foreign accent and both callers were male.
I did not call back because I believe it's a scam and I usually don't return call if I don't know who they are from.
well hear we again. These people called a couple years back. Same people and same scam. I contacted the Attorney General and FBI. THEY USE THE SAME METHODS. TRYING TO GET YOU TO DIVULGE INFORMATION AND MONEY. These people need to be stopped. How they get people's numbers are beyond me. So beware of these cheap scammers. Keep track of each call, and the authorties know of this.
