Midland is infamous for recklessly calling everyone and the neighbor's koi pond who they think might rattle the cage of some alleged debtor. You don't have to take that noise. Tell 'em to knock off; they must obey per state and Federal law. Even better if you send them a "shut up" letter with olde fashioned paper and USPS Certified Mail. I have 2 reports on my credit from these people on a bill I paid 2 yrs ago to the original creditor. Have receipts but can't get them to stop calling or remove from my report. Very frustrating.
