Said they were the I.R.S., I told him he was a list and that I was reporting him. He then proceeded to shout vulgarities at me while still claiming to be from the I.R.S., Idiots.
This creep leaves a message that there is a question of tax fraud and says he's officer Jake Williams. The call is from Hinckley,MN.. Block the number, it's a scam
to scare you and they would no doubt ask for a payment. The number is s no fixed voip. Meaning it's made over the Internet and does not need a physical address. It can be forwarded from out of the country. May they rot in hell.
A person left a message to say he was "Officer Jake Williams and there was a question of tax fraud." They want you to wait until the other shoe drops? It is a scam! They are criminals and are from no legitimate court. The call is from Hinkley,MN.
I called the number back to rave at this creep and it does not connect. It is a non fixed VOIP. A call made over the internet like SKYPE. You don't need a physical address and the call can be forwarded from out of the country! Here is a quote from a high level fraud security firm-
"Fraudsters can take advantage of the ease of registration with Non-Fixed VOIP services to perform elaborate schemes and criminal activity that are untraceable."
It is an outrage that they are calling people to scare them and then would try to get them to make a payment and cause more emotional and financial trauma.
the caller began talking before the recorder began so the caller did not identify themselves. however it sounded like an older women who informed me that I should call them back on this number (320-207-9181) before they turned my case over to the local court house. I did not return their call. this call has scam written all over it.
