If this is infact the Home Improvement Store...here is my story. I signed up of a drawing in the local mall to win free window installation. Little did I know that it is a scam to get your information and to cold call you 5-10 times a day. I answered and they said you are entered in a drawing for $10,000 in home improvements and blah blah blah then they proceeded to tell me they were coming to my house to do an estimate and I told them to immediately take my name off their list and do not call ever again....that was about 7 years ago. I have delt with manager after manager promising my name is off their list and yet today I received a call from them yet again. I guess I'm going to pull up some old email strings and email the manager yet again and this time I am telling him I'm reporting their company to the BBB. This is ridiculous..... 320-403-1114
I was getting 2 calls a day from them for at least a week before I found this thread. I had indeed signed up for the $10,000 drawing at my local home show. A couple of times I picked up to immediately hang up because there is no ignore button on my phone and I didn't need my phone ringing at work. They still kept calling. I finally saw the call and took it on Friday.
"You had signed up for a drawing and I need some more information to complete your entry."
"I am no longer interested. Take me off your list. I don't appreciate being called twice a day with no messages..."
1st interruption by the caller - "We don't leave messages."
"I don't care. I have no interest in doing business with someone who calls twice daily and..."
"Well are you a homeowner or not?"
"Take me off of your list."
"Well you signed up for the drawing noting that you were a homeowner..."
"Take me off your list."
"Ok, but..."
"Take me off your list."
"Fine, but you signed up for this."
"I did not sign up to be harassed like this. Do not call me again. Goodbye."
