Number called at 5am 7:10 am and 8am Christmas Eve morning when I finially answered he said with a thick Indian accent something was wrong with my Microsoft computer i laid into him to many bad words to type here and then hung up on him
Answered the land line today because I have guests sleeping in only to be bemused by a want to be East Indian accented tech support scammer "calling in my regards to my computer." I chuckled a bit and went along with it for about four minutes. I think he started to detected the deep cynicism in my voice so I asked him what company he was calling from than he winced and said "Apple." He hung up. I felt bad. I could have wasted more of time.

CALLER ID SAID Scam & Fraud, Calls all the time . They are not smart enough to know people can trace the calls.
This isn't the first time I've received a call from these scammers. The caller with terrible English ran through the same introduction as above. I said, "Really, Microsoft would call me?" He replied that he is a certified Microsoft partner and he was calling me about my computer. I said, "hum, interesting, because I am a Certified Microsoft Partner, why would you be calling me?" Click...so funny but, I (and anyone) should let your kids know not to fall for this, even though I know they wouldn't, it might be a good time to remind them to not let your guard down.
Heavy Indian accent- said my computer Windows was corrupt. Told him I didn't have computer & he accused ME of lying
Told him I didn't owe him any explanation & hung up
This indian dude called my house claiming to be with Microsoft and said no computer was producing error messages so I asked what type of computer do I have and he didn't answer me so he brought his "superior" onto the phone and he guessed right then I asked my name and he said I don't have your name only you number so I told him to call back but this time I will be ready to find out as much as I can
