Number called at 5am 7:10 am and 8am Christmas Eve morning when I finially answered he said with a thick Indian accent something was wrong with my Microsoft computer i laid into him to many bad words to type here and then hung up on him
I keep getting calls from numbers I don't recognize also. I looked on my land line phone and there is a setting that you can block numbers. I did this on several numbers that were constantly calling, and no more phone calls from these numbers. It's a pain to have to put these numbers in, but if the same number keeps coming up, it's worth the hassle. Just a suggestion!!!!
A woman with an Indian accent called (7AM) to tell me that she was calling from a Microsoft Technical Center in New Jersey because they were getting error messages from my computer network. I made her repeat everything several times and told her I was having trouble with her New Jersey accent. Eventually she put on a man - also with an Indian accent. He also wanted me to turn on my computer so I said that it was on. I wanted to see what they wanted me to do. He guided me through looking at my keyboard. (I told him I was having trouble with his NJ accent.) He wanted me to press the Microsoft key and the 'R' key. I said, no. He said that he thought I was just messing with him and I confirmed that He said. "Sir, do you know that you are a s** of a b**** and a m****er*****r?" At that point I started laughing and he hung up. I tied up 2 scammers on a long distance call from India. My purpose was to cost them money so they will stop calling. It usually works for a while and it is entertaining....
