I didn't answer this time-but I've had every scenario(just about)listed here. We DO need to file complaints. I, also, am on the Federal Do Not Call List and if enough of us complain, they could be shut down. So here's our chance to fight back!
They called earlier today and I told them not to call again and they said "because of your attitude, we're calling you tomorrow" and they had the nerve to call me back immediately after hanging up on me. I suggest everyone that gets calls from them to take legal action. This company is very unprofessional and something needs to be done about it!
you can call their HQ at (954) 970-0393 and have them take your number off, but who knows if they actually will.
I made the mistake of doing an online health insurance questionaire and haven't had a moment's peace since! My phone has not stopped ringing from unsolicited marketing calls for health insurance. How do I make them stop????

"I made the mistake of filling out an online for for a health insurance quote. These jerks call every day, but no one is on the line. They hang up when I call back. Every time I get a tele-marketer I call them back to tell them to stop calling and put me on their do not call list. It usually works, but these people will not pick answer the phone whan I call back."
My experience is identical. Because of telemarketing, I have made it a habit to never answer any incoming calls. Ever! They go directly to my machine; if I'm there at the time, I'll only answer if I recognize the caller ID or the voice. Innovative (or NHCP, I guess) hangs up even before my outgoing message finishes. It's very annoying, but it's better than being hung up on after I answer. What is THAT about??? I don't understand what they accomplish by hanging up on people who actually answer the call.
The website where I made the fatal mistake was Health-Insurance.org (http://www.health-insurance.org). Stay away from it!! Looking for insurance through this website is the same as putting your address and phone number on a spam list. They disperse it to any company that subscribes to their service, which must be hundreds. Once you do this, you will get calls from ANY company that services your region, whether or not they have the kind of coverage you want.
Please learn from our experiences. If you need insurance, go directly to the websites of each company you're interested in. Deal with them individually.
