I received a call from this number: 3212833546, when I answered, they hung up. I press recall on my phone and received an out of service message. From looking at this thread, it has been going on for a while. I am taking it up with the authorities.
It is more than likely a company doing what is called fishing. They use a random phone number that cannot be called back to see if someone answers. They log the time if you do. Then the company that is really wanting to contact you calls at approximately the same time, since you answered previously around that time, in hopes that you will answer again. All the caller ID shows on my cell is the number and Sanford, FL. I solve this problem by saving the numbers I expect calls from and not answering any others since I pay the phone bill and they do not.
