I got a call from this number numerous times, and usually just let it go unanswered. Once, I answered just to see who was calling and not leaving a message. It was a woman from some health insurance company who said, "Congratulations, you were approved for your health insurance and all I need is your payment information to get your cards in the mail." I proceeded to tell her that I did NOT apply for health coverage with any company. I did get some internet quotes from a wide variety of insurance companies, but that I did not choose one nor submit any application for one. She continued to talk to me as though I had not said any of the above and then asked me for my information again. I told her that I did not like being manipulated and that I was going to report this as an insurance fraud or scam. She, of course, hung up on me. However, the calls continue to come to my phone. I do not answer, nor do I ever give out any information. Does anyone know who to call to report such scams?
The 321 code could be anywhere in the greater Orlando area. The calls behave like a computer dailer. You can't call in to those numbers. We get them too. Perhaps your phone service has "call block." Obviously, there are many people who have nothing to do but waste other people's time.
Frankly, I think these calls have gone way too far. Try calling the Insurance Commissioner in Tallahassee, Florida. They are responsible for licensing companies to do business in that state. They also go after ones that are operating scams. Of course, the company we are addressing may not be an insurance company at all, but just a group trying to steal personal ID. You would probably find that out, as well.
